Premiering at Worlds ’23, Gods is the animated retelling of Deft’s legendary rise to world champion. We teamed up with Psyop to bring his story to life through an electrifying blend of past battles and fantasy, deeply rooted in League of Legends’ lore.
With the championship taking place in Deft's home country of South Korea and the incredible opportunity to work with NewJeans, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect to tell his story.
The music video was a massive team effort, with numerous artists and storytellers ensuring historical accuracy, authenticity to the lore, and faithful representation of the many players featured. Since its release, Gods has gone down as one of the most iconic anthems in LoL Esports history.
